History

The formal meeting was held on 27.03.1993 when the Sangha was formed in the name and style “ARYA VYSYA SANGHA, VIDYARANYAPURA BANGALORE 560 013”. 

Following was the structure of the committee which was finalized:

• Vice President ​: Dr. A Veeraraghavan
• Secretary ​​: K Sathyanarayana
• Joint Secretary ​: KL Krishna Setty
• Treasurer ​​: PS Adi Lakshminarayana
• Organising Secretary ​: K Kuberaiah Setty
• EC Member ​​: Mrs. Padma Nagabhushana
• EC Member​​: CA Nanjunda Setty
• EC Member​​: B Mallikarjuna

Later Sri Rajashekhara Gupta took over Secretary for brief period and again Sri. K Sathyanarayana continued as secretary.  

The above committee planned various programes and subscription fee to become member.

First Vasavi Jayanthi was held on 01.05.1993 (Saturday) and first Dhatri Homa was conducted on 28.11.1993. 

Annual sports activity to encourage participation by all age groups and Life membership drive to increase the fund generation was started by Ex President Dr Gupta and Vice President Viswanath B.

First General body Meeting was held on 01.09.1996.   

The Sangha was registered under Registrar of Co-Operative Societies on 08.04.1999 with the name “VIDYARANYAPURA ARYA VYSYA SANGHA”.

Kanyaka Parameswari Devi Prathishtapana was done during program from 30.04.2007 – 02.05.2007.  

Kanyaka Parameswari Devi vigraha Chara Prathishtapana was done on 01.11.2009
